For being a pillow top AND plush, it's pretty firm. I'm hoping that after some time it'll get plushy, which is what they recommend atleast 30 days to let it settle in. OH, it's squeaky too; In some areas where there's the buttons, I push down and it makes a squeaky noise, I just hope it doesn't get worse.

I was surprised at how stiff this mattress is. Hoping it breaks in. The mattress stitching was coming undone even as it's fresh out of the bag.

Love this mattress! All the mattresses in my house are serta brand. I got this one firm with the plush top and it is so comfortable! Very happy with this purchase. I'm pregnant and have back issues during and just normal so I am picky about mattresses. I love sleeping on this bed, I have no back or shoulder pain when I wake up. Highly recommend!

Bad overall experience. Was forced to re schedule 15 times due to extremely poor communication between Serta and delivery group. Also, the Serta customer experience team would average a week to respond to concerns or questions.

My husband and I had been shopping for a new matress to replace our 22 year old mattress for several months. Truthfully, our old mattress was still quite comfortable despite its age but I thought it was time to replace it. Prior to purchashing our Serta mattress, we had purchased 3 other mattresses all of which were returned for various reasons, They were either too firm, lacked edge support, sagged after just one week of use, or had excessive motion transfer. We had to keep bringing our old mattress back into the bedroom. Then we purchased this Serta plush pillow top mattress. Not only did it cost significanttly less than the others, it had all the qualities the others lacked. It had the perfect amount of firmness/plushness, strong edge support and virtually no motion transfer. Our only issue (more my husband's than mine) was that the mattress was advertised as measuring 79.5 inches in length and we measured it at 79 but we have learnt that 79 inches is the length of most mattresses, including our old one which had been our gold standard. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase.

I upgraded from a mattress in a box to the Serta Plush. I've had it about 3 weeks now. This was such an upgrade compared to the mattress I had been using! It's so soft and literally feels like you're sleeping on clouds. I suffer from severe insomnia and neck and back pain. This mattress has really made a difference! Hoping it lasts for years to come! Would highly recommend this mattress!!!

We bought this mattress and loved it at first, but after about a year there were already serious indents. My husband especially was so uncomfortable that we ended up buying a new mattress. We are bummed that we spent this money only to have to reinvest in a new one so soon.

I got this mattress yesterday and it was comfortable for the first night. Hopefully this will continue. My problem is with trying to register it for the warranty as they suggest in two different places in their literature. I have tried both sites that they state and neither one lets me register the product as they suggested. Instead, I have gone around in circles for an hour to no avail. Not a great way to begin an association with a company. It is Sunday and their offices are closed.

I have had two separate back injuries (one mid-back, one lower back) that have left me with arthritis, so finding a quality mattress for a good price can be a challenge (I generally like my mattress on the form side). Add to that the fact that my husband loves soft beds and especially memory foam, I assumed we would never have a bed we both really loved. This mattress gave us both everything we were looking for. As a hybrid, it gives him the soft feeling he wants yet still has the coils to support my back. Neither of us wake up in pain anymore, and we are sleeping very well. I can't give this mattress more praise-good sleep has given us both a better quality of life, and if that wasn't enough, the cost couldn't be beat.

I reviewed this mattress when we first got it and gave it five stars then. It's been seven and a half months since we got this mattress so I wanted to give an honest update (I am writing a new review since I can't edit the old one).
We didn't notice any problems with this mattress for at least a few months into using it. However, it is LESS THAN A YEAR since we got it brand new and it's injured my back to the point that we need to completely replace it with a new one. For context, our mattress before this one was good for NINETEEN years and we only got rid of it because we upgraded from a Full size to a Queen size, not having space for both at the time. So we got rid of a perfectly good mattress because of this Serta Serene Sky Plush Pillow Top, only to have to replace it again so soon.
The main reason it hurts our backs so bad is because there are dents and dips throughout the mattress. I am 120 pounds for reference. We have tried everything to fix this-including rotating it clockwise/counterclockwise and adding a firm topper. While those things help, we still wake up in excruciating pain after sleeping on this mattress.
The worst part is that Serta has a customer service line that promises a "warranty" even if you have moved or the retailer is no longer there. However when we called, they said they couldn't help and they refused to honor any sort of warranty. Just ridiculous. Don't get this unless you're planning on mattress shopping again half a year later.

I searched for months to find perfect mattress, I've had 2 back surgeries still need another one, I'm a side sleeper and sweat like crazy. When I got this mattress I read all reviews and features, well I keep a neck ache and I literally pour sweat. I toss and turn from the heat and I keep it 68 degrees in my home. I really wanted the cool feature on mattress but there must be an on / off switch because it has not yet kept me cool

I got this mattress for my parents as a Christmas gift and they couldn't be more happy with it. They say it is great support for their backs and is soft and comfortable. The service was wonderful! They called and arranged a convenient time to make the delivery that fit with my schedule and offered to remove the old mattress. I can't say enough nice things about the company!
